What trucks do you test?

We test 2013 and newer diesel trucks only, using the official OBD2 CARB Clean Truck Check test. If your truck is older than 2013, we are not able to test it.

Do you offer opacity (smoke) testing?

No. We do not offer opacity testing. We perform OBD2 CARB Clean Truck Check testing only.

Do you do repairs or mechanical work?

No. NextGen Clean Truck Check is strictly a mobile CARB CTC testing service. We do not offer repairs or any mechanical services. If your truck fails or needs repair, please contact a qualified diesel repair shop.

Are you really mobile? Do I have to drive to you?

We are fully mobile. Our technician comes to your yard, terminal, or job site with the certified OBD2 equipment. You never have to move the truck to a station.

We are based in Ontario, CA and serve the Inland Empire and surrounding areas — Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Chino, Riverside, San Bernardino, Corona, Moreno Valley, and more. Larger fleets outside this area can request a visit.

How long does the test take?

The OBD2 CTC test itself is quick per truck. Actual time on-site depends on how many trucks you have and how they're staged, but we work efficiently so your operation keeps moving.

What do I need to have ready?

Have the truck accessible with the engine ready to be started, and the VIN and registration nearby. For fleet visits, please have the trucks staged so we can move through them efficiently.

How are results reported to CARB?

Passing OBD2 CTC results are submitted to CARB through the official reporting process. We also provide you with certification documentation for your records.
